Thanks for your kind words. I’m glad that you liked the post about the human mind being shaped by predation.
What I write is a bit hard to pin down in terms of genre, though you could think of it as a naturalistic philosophy of mind informed by evolutionary psychology. It could also be considered a contribution in the area of big history, which recent school of historiography has influenced me a lot. I have also been influenced by Frank White and the overview effect, and I think of big history as a overview of time.
This piece on the predated mind is loosely related to the posts before it about mythology, which are even harder to pin down in terms of what discipline these explorations fall under. I try to give a naturalistic account of mythology, and I’m working on a naturalistic account of mysticism, and these kinds of inquiries lead me pretty far afield from my starting point.
